For the past few years, hundreds of passionate worshippers, artists & creatives have gathered in Boulder, CO for the annual Resound Conference. For this conference, we set aside a weekend to listen to great teaching and be led by emerging worship leaders and artists from around the country. The heartbeat of Resound has always been to create an environment of worship & creativity where Christ-followers of all ages could come together and enjoy the presence of God.

Last year, the Resound team received an invitation to bring the conference to San Jose, Costa Rica to teach, lead worship, and encourage young people in creativity and the arts. So, a team of 13 went and did just that. It was a powerful time of seeing people touched by the love of God and be awakened to their God-given potential!

More recently, the Resound team was extended another invitation and this time the location is slightly further south...

In April of 2011, a team of 15 will be flying to South America to bring the same heartbeat of Resound to the streets of Rio De Janiero, Brazil. The goal of this trip is to work with the pastors of a local church to host a conference where we'll have the chance to teach, lead worship, & envision young people to use their gifts and creativity to make a difference in the world. With that same message, we'll be going into a local orphanage and youth center in a poorer section of Rio to bring hope and encouragement to more young people.

As international invitations continue to come in, we are reminded that God is a global God.  He loves for the nations to know of His goodness, and we love to be a part of what He is doing around the world.  At the end of the day it's a picture of what it will be like to worship around the throne of God with every tribe, tongue, and culture for all eternity!
