The following is a list of Breakout Sessions that will be offered on Friday afternooon, November 18th. This list is subject to change.

SESSION 1 12:30 p.m.
“Songwriting”
Jason Roberson & Panel
In this session, a panel of gifted artists will talk about their journey in writing songs that encourage and strengthen the local church. You’ll learn about the spiritual, mental, and practical facets of how to capture a song. The session will provide ample time for you to ask specific questions of the artists.
“Worship & The Word”
Dave Powers, Boulder, CO
Dave will blab, tell stories, and demonstrate the nutty deliciousness of combining musical worship with the Word of God.
Dave and Tara Powers are the founders and directors of Worship And The Word Movement. For over a decade, they have been leading musical worship and teaching the Word of God all around the world, and most of the time their son Hunter accompanies them, which they say is a BLAST! Their world-wide ministry allows them to be involved in conferences, house churches, festivals, living rooms, and retreats, They are also part of an amazing team of people that oversee several “movements”, including Heaven Fest, 24-7 Tent, Seek and Soak, and the Cardboard Campout.
“Weathered……The Rhythm Of A Year In Worship” Tim Coons
The early Christians knew how strongly the seasons OUTSIDE impact our souls INSIDE. How do we plan worship accordingly? How do seasons like Advent/Christmas or Lent/Easter or Pentecost help us best tell the story of Christ? How do we let the rhythm of the seasons speak to the hearts of our people?
Tim is a national recording artist from Greely, CO. He has recorded several albums, most recently “Frailty”, a collection of songs about the idea of life and mortality. Tim also recorded “Chair and Microphone, vol. 4” on the Enter the Worship Circle label, one of the largest independent Christian labels in the country.
“Healing & The Supernatural Through A Lifestyle of Worship” John Fitch, Boulder, CO
Worship is the foundation for stepping into the active power and purpose of God. This power transforms the believer and fuels the passion to transform cities and nations. Discover the partnership between a life of worship and the supernatural. We will discuss the practical steps for a life-style that can change history.
John is a founding member of Resound and travels the world teaching a gospel of power through signs and wonders saturated in the atmosphere of worship.
SESSION 2 1:45 p.m.
“Two Contending Worship Movements And The New Song Unto The Second Coming Of Christ” Laura Hackett (Resound featured artists)
The end of this age is coming to a close with an epic battle for the worship/adoration of every human heart. In this session, we will discuss the enemy’s plan to draw the worship of humanity to himself and the Lord’s victorious plan to bring a generation into longing for His government to be established on the earth.
We will also discuss how to come into agreement right now with this revelation through everyday devotion to Jesus Christ in corporate worship.
Laura Hackett and band come from the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, where they work as full-time musicians and intercessors, daily keeping charge of a 24/7 sanctuary of worship. Laura’s passion is to daily hear the voice of the Lord and sing His word back to His heart. Her desire is for the whole church to come into their true destiny as devoted lovers of God through the gift of music.
“Psalms, Hymns & Spiritual Song
Josh Garrels (Resound featured artist)
The bible instructs us to “speak to one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs… to sing and make music in your heart to the Lord”. In this session, we will explore freedom of form and the diversity of musical expression when used to meet the diversity of human need.
Josh is a musician/producer from Portland, OR. For the past 10 years, Garrels has self-produced his albums and toured the country with his wife and 2 kids. His most recent offering, “Love & War & The Sea In Between”, was fully funded by listeners and is now being given away for free for one full year.
“Worship: Living For The Glory & Pleasure of God”
Joel Davis, Resound Featured Artist, Ascend The Hill, Tampa, FL
Who captivates your affection? Who steals your attention? When do your longings and desires come alive? In this session, we will discuss the call of the worshiper, the ambition of our hearts, and the distractions of the modern day church. The intention of this intimate time together is that we will have an opportunity to have our longings “wakened by the touch of God”.
Joel is husband to Amy, and a singer/songwriter from Tampa, FL. After serving his local church as a worship pastor for 7 years, he was sent out as a full-time “musicianary”. He has spent the last 3 years traveling the US and abroad with his indie/ambient worship band, Ascend The Hill. Together with his band mates and non-profit missions label Come & Live!, they are pioneering the musicianary movement, calling musicians and artists to simple living and radical generosity.
“Creating A Culture of Worship”

Worship is so much more than the songs we sing on Sunday morning and it was never meant to be confined within the walls of the local church. However, worship should permeate our lives, our families, and our homes. In this session, Jason & John will talk about their journey towards building a culture of worship and share practical lessons learned over the last 15 years.

“Actionable Tips for Real-World Worship”

In this clinic, Anthony will cover the ins & outs of “real-world worship” as it concerns leadership, musicianship, and band/support team dynamics. He will discuss everything from the identity of the worship leader to how to go about getting a monitor mix. Don’t miss it!
Anthony is a commanding singer, songwriter, producer and author known for his distinctive, soulful voice and unforgettable melodies. He effectively erases the line between sacred and secular songs, with themes of beauty, love and redemption. Anthony’s own gospel album Forever And A Day and pop album Crush have both received acclaim from Relevant and Paste magazines. He has also just released his new book Worship Smartbook: Actionable Tips For Real-World Worship.
“Prophetic Singing….Anyone Can Do It”
John Young, Bridgeway Church, Denver, CO
What is prophetic singing, and what purpose does it serve? Come join this hands-on session where we demystify prophetic singing and make it tangible and meaningful for everyone! “Step out” in a friendly and energetic atmosphere and give it a try!
John leads worship at Bridgeway Church in Denver, and has a heart to capture today’s generation with a passion for Christ that is outside the walls of the church. His joy in worship is contagious both on and off the stage, and his approach to worshipping is simple: Be in love with God!
“Nurturing A Spirit of Revival”
